Thomas Castor 1792 - 1873*
Thomas Caster, born about 1793 in Pa, son of John and Hannah (McDonald) Caster. Thomas married Sarah Wolgamott. Sarah was born about 1798 in Ohio,
daughter of David and Catherine (Lemmon) Wolgamott. Thomas came to Ohio about 1811, and to Holmes County (then Wayne County) about 1813. Before 1828, Thomas
leased 80 acres in Salt Creek Township from the State (these were the School Lands), but instead of buying he assigned the land to Conrad Simmerman. Thomas
lived on Honey Run north of Millersburg. Thomas was interested in politics, and was a Democrat. In 1840, he was listed as a member of "The Hardy Township Club,"
a local organization of Democrats. Thomas was a farmer. Thomas died in Hardy Township 31 July 1873 at age 81.

- Catharine Castor born August 1818 in Ohio; died sometime after 1900, did not marry
- John H Castor born 15 December 1836 in Holmes County, Ohio; married 28 December 1871
Louise S Glitzman in Holmes County, Ohio; died 21 January 1908 in Akron, Ohio.
